Jalaluddin Akbar came into India along with his father Humayun as an “invader” from Kabul ,Afghanistan in the year 1555 ,precisely as had come Humayun himself along with his infamous father Baabar in 1526.His father Humayun advanced into Delhi wresting it from the progeny of Sher Shah Suri – a pathan warrior and then emperor .Meanwhile Akbar stayed back at Lahore, Punjab .After some time his father died at Delhi. At this time Hemu Rajpurohit the PM and undefeated General of Sher Shah Suri advanced and won Delhi back from the Mughals.Hemu was coronated as the Samrat (emperor) of India by Hindus and Muslims both. A battle ensued between the forces of Akbar and Hemu in 1556 at Panipat.Hemu was caught alive by the forces of Akbar. Jalaluddin Akbar beheaded Hemu with a sword and sent Hemu’s head to Kabul for being hung at the Delhi gate of Kabul made of steel .This was his way of sending a trophy to show to his relatives that he had succeeded in cutting the head of the top man of Hindustan(India) so he had become the emperor of it. He displayed the remaining body(torso and the legs) of Hemu at purana kila (Fort of Pandavas) at Delhi by hanging it downward by gibbet in order to show to the people of India that anybody resisting him would meet such an end. This one single act is so dastardly and so great in dimention that Akbar should never ever be seen with respect in India by anyone .But he did not confine himself to the mere mistreatment of Hemu or his dead body. Akbar ordered all soldiers killed and caught alive to be decapitated and their heads be used to construct a number of “minaars” ( pyramids).The victims numbered in thousands(Some estimates suggest 15-20 thousand.Most of them were Pathaan muslim soldiers and others innocent Hindu people from the surrounding areas.) He felt a great pride in doing so as similar barbaric acts had been committed by his brute ancestors like Baabar and Temur Lang on the people of India in the past .. Then Akbar asked his artists to make paintings of the pyramids to preserve it for posterity.What a great bestial brute of a man --a veritable monster that Akbar was!

One such painting is still preserved at Panipat museum. I am giving the photo of it below.Such were the bestial atrocities commited by Akbar in India . Consequently a great wave of “terror” struck whole of North India.Which is why he can suitably be called as a “terrorist leader” in the modern terminology, precisely as Osama Bin Laden has been termed in the modern times.The difference is Laden killed 3000 americans which included foreign nationals in one blow and Akbar killed 4-5 fold of that figure –all of them the Indians So great was the terror of Akbar that whichever direction he advanced in or he invaded the forts and cities were vacated overnight,nobody dared resist him except for one person – the Maharana of Mewar –the owner of the capital fort of Chittoregarh.Therefore, when Akbar invaded Chittore in 1568 it was not vacated .On the contrary a strong force of 10000 warriors along with 40000 civilians awaited there to confront him and to defend the fort.Meanwhile,as a move to save the royal blood ,following the advice of all chieftains, Maharana Udai Singh along with son Pratap Singh and the entire royal family left for the western hills. A war of attrition ensued for four long months in which hundreds of soldiers of Akbar were killed without any significant loss to Chittore defenders due to the height and strength of the fort .This enraged Akbar.Finally, following the exhaustion of the ration stocks defenders themselves opened the gates of the fort , having seen their beloved women committing “Johar” (burning to death) in order to save their dignity from being exploited and raped by muslim invaders, they pounced upon the aggressors.A thick battle ensued in which all defenders were killed.Akbar ordered “katle-aam” a massacre of civilians . In a few hours about 50000 people perished.(Figure of 30000 has been given by the mughal historians of the time, but Indian claim is of 40-50 thousand which is more accurate in my opinion.) It was the greatest genocide committed by any one in the whole world at the time.Were the defenders of Chittoregarh not Indians?They in deed were. Some foolish persons in our country while copying a British historian write Akbar was a “great” emperor.Are these acts of a “great” man? They cite “revenue collection” system and marrying Hindu girls as the valid reasons for his “greatness.” Good God , how childish these writers are ! Did he organize this revenue collection system for the good of the people of India or for his own “asho-araam” (lavish lifestyle) ?And Can’t they realize he married the Hindu girls to keep the heads (of their fathers and brothers) down and not to honour them?This is a non-sense of the first order that he did it out of magnanimity and secularism.He was more extreme than modern era terrorist Taliban.Taliban did commit the atrocities on the innocent of the “similar kind” ,but not on the scale Akbar did. He did not spare even muslims what to talk of Hindus.

Besides ,he forcibly called for the daughters/sisters of the Kings under his domain to keep them in his harem- surely for his own entertainment.They were not “married” through wedding ceremony as is being publicized by a few vested interests or by unknowledgeable persons.They were “sent to harem” of Akbar, as is rightly claimed in the books of his own historians, naturally as objects of sexual exploitation.”Sending to harem” act was never committed by the fathers of the girls voluntarily out of free will.There was always a sword hanging on their head.Not even a muslim would give his daughter to such a brute ,what to talk of a Hindu .This atrocity was so great that outsiders simply could not /cannot understand the dimention of it.Only the girls involved could understand the ins and outs of it and could realize its full weight.The girls did not know even the language of Akbar.Nothing was common between them and Akbar .Language , costumes , culture , religious beliefs , ethnicity etc.Their upbringing culture was completely different from that of Akbar .How they could adjust there only they could tell.Nobody else .They were pushed into it by their helpless parents. They went there simply to save their family members from being destroyed by the bestial invader.There was no question of their being “happy” by heart and mind whatsoever the physical comforts might have been offered to them.

Besides , Akbar had started a very sophisticated another sexual atrocity upon the women folks of the elite of India .He did it under the cover of the having “celebrations.”He used to organize what seemingly was a celebration of the festival of “Nov Roz.” It was made obligatory on the part of newly wed royal brides(the most beautiful young ladies of the time) to attend such a celebration.- - almost to fall victim to the scanning eyes of Akbar there.It was an atrocity committed on Hindu and Muslim rulers both without discrimination .Only Maharana Pratap never sent even his “daasi”(servant girl) much less his princess.Which is why he is still revered and considered the savior of “aan maan shaan” (dignity and honour)of the nation.

One of the greatest atrocities Akbar (and his progenies) committed in this country was the mass scale forcible conversion of Hindus into Muslims to suit their own military, social , religious and other interests.It was against the tennets of Islam laid down in Quran—the forcible conversion.But Akbar and his descendents hardly cared about Islam or it's tennets .This single deed continued for four to five generations long changed the demography of the whole country.It had enormous political , social , religious ,ethnic implications in due course. It is chiefly responsible for the division of hearts and for the division of the nation through the creation of Pakistan and Bangladesh out of greater India.Nobody ever wanted to convert into Islam out of free will.Basically ,they did it out of the fear of sword.Fear was the key. Therefore , all the muslims living not only in India but also in Pakistan and Bangladesh are truly brothers and sisters of Hindus living in India.Unfortunately,the most of the current generation muslims hardly realize it.

So called “great” and “secular” Akbar never ever allowed to cross his mind or entertained , much less considered, the very idea of restoring the Vishwanath Temple at Banaras , Ram Janambhoomi Temple of Ayodhya and Krishna Janambhoomi of Mathura – the three greatest sites of faith to their rightful owners the Hindus that his barbaric grandfather Baabar and father Humayun had so openly , so brazenly and so cruelly demolished by the sword and converted them into Masjids giving them names of their own.On the contrary , he consolidated the hold and constructed new grand Jama masjids at Delhi, Lahore etc .

Such were the human rights violations and other atrocities committed by Akbar in India that they find no match in quality or scale in the entire world of the time .Still some fools in this country are calling him “great” copying a British writer who had nothing to do with human rights of Indians since the victims were not the Bristish but the Indians.The British was concerned only with the military victory.At what cost to whom ? He did not care.
